Setting screen brightness unconsitent behavior.

Hi,

I've installed daedalus on a Laptop. ( trough devuan_daedalus_5.0.1_amd64_desktop.iso )

Sometime when I press fn + F5 I can lower my screen brightness, sometimes nothing happen (or the screen turn off completely the backlight )

I've installed brightnessctl

brightnessctl return:

Device 'platform::kbd_backlight' of class 'leds':
	Current brightness: 1 (100%)
	Max brightness: 1

brightnessctl -l

Available devices:
Device 'platform::kbd_backlight' of class 'leds':
	Current brightness: 1 (100%)
	Max brightness: 1

Device 'input0::scrolllock' of class 'leds':
	Current brightness: 0 (0%)
	Max brightness: 1

Device 'input0::capslock' of class 'leds':
	Current brightness: 0 (0%)
	Max brightness: 1

Device 'input0::numlock' of class 'leds':
	Current brightness: 0 (0%)
	Max brightness: 1

brightnessctl set 50% or brightnessctl set 0.5
Do not change the brightness but brightnessctl repport brightness at 0% O_o

Thanks.

Re: Setting screen brightness unconsitent behavior.

I've did also xrandr -q and  I get

xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default.

So I suppose It's a problem with the drivers ?

Meanwhile even if it's the winter here, I'm working with sunglasses XD
