Install/activate Printer in Devuan

Hallo Friends... I have an very Old simple HP Printer. It's a Deskjet D1560
This Printer works on every Linux i am working  or that i try. with (Ubuntu etc.) or that i try.
I is automatically recognized by the Linux....Connected by USB and : BING....

Because i have bad feelings with systemd i installed DEVUAN....It works quick & stable.

But Devuan dosn#t recognize the HP Printer...Connected by USB and done
LSUSB says  Bus 002 Device 007: ID 03f0:1d04 HP, Inc Deskjet D1500 series

So my simple Question: When i want to make this Printer working in Devuan,
do i have to clowning around with cups or similar???

Can someone help me with this?

Have you tried installing
- cups
- hplip
- hplip-gui
with all it's dependencies?

Does 'Installing cups by installing another distribution' count?
Anyway. Your choice.

Oh sorry. Offcourse i use devuan daily....It is a great Linux without systemd...And thankyou for your answer....
