Hello! Can you explain? Why under Win7x32 i feel much better and smoother overall perfomance than on Devuan Ceres x64?

HDD feels slow nowadays compared to SSDs. NVidea support on Linux partially is poor.
Online
i have the exact opposite question, but without nvidia @#%#%.
why are slowwwwww windoze still around?
had to check a friends laptop (similar specs to mine) with win7 and waited to open a browser for ~15". opens up instantly here (devuan ceres x64)...
ofcourse many factors count. running processes, drivers, hdd, ram, etc.
the only time i had to admit windoze felt smoother-faster, was winxp on a really old laptop, compared to debian lenny (or squeeze?) at the time (not sure which one).
even tried older debian releases on floppy, but still i couldn't get descent system response like on winxp.. anyway, that was a decade+ ago...
ps. win7 are not supported anymore, so no updates. etc..

Because Win7 is obsolete and unsupported. Ancient software tends to run faster.

tell me, is your appamor setup engaged? My is slow as... a 386sx /4Mb ram while waiting for programs to open. I hope it's apparmor.

And why ancient is faster and newer is bloated?

And why ancient is faster and newer is bloated?
Developers tend to add more features over time. These features do not come without cost.
See also Wirth's Law.

Compile your own kernel then. And other software I suppose.
Devuan is pretty good in that respect though, and certainly better than, for example, Arch Linux and their "kitchen sink" approach to compiling & packaging.

why "bloated" also applies to Linux, too, I thought only proprietary software suffers from it?

The kernel developers are keen on their features. GNU's bloated libc version doesn't help either.
For a more streamlined approach to kernel development try OpenBSD or perhaps 9front. Just don't expect a Windows/OS X desktop clone, although OpenBSD does offer GNOME.
