I'm trying to add the ppa for inxi sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unit193/inxi but I keep getting this:
Ron@Ron:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unit193/inxi
[sudo] password for Ron:
sudo: add-apt-repository: command not found
It worked on ascii; don't know why it's not working on 4.0.
The other issue is that when I open a sound app (Audacity, SMPlayer, start up sound) I'm getting an annoying POP sound. It just pops when you open the app. After that it's okay. Any ideas on this?
[I'm still having the screen tearing issue mentioned in my other post.]

Hi,
from a quick look in order to get the use of add-apt-repository you need to apt install software-properties-common

inxi is in the normal Devuan repository.

PPAs are not compatible with Devuan and can break it completely.
See https://wiki.debian.org/CreatePackageFromPPA for an alternative method (but not for inxi, as rolfie notes).
