FreeBSD degrades "i386" to a 2nd class citizen.

I think we'll still see 32 bits in the ARM and MIPS dimensions for a long time and x32 (special 32bit userland (can use more registers!) on 64bit kernel) pops up as topic too again and again because being even more efficient than pure 32bitish x86.

So most software would still need to be 32bit clean, even if i386 gets dropped.

I think dropping i386 makes no sense, but who knows when Debian will have the next totally fair voting?   :-P
