How to use connman-ui instead of wicd?

Q:  Is there a way to change from wicd to connman-ui gracefully?
The spins with connman I've tried re-connect promptly; wicd may eventually, or not.
For me, manually telling wicd to re-connect every time seems like way too much hassle.
(I don't want to lose connectivity in the changeover process!)

Isn't there an 'automaticaly connect' or 'use this connection' setting(?).
(I know I don't have to manually start mine every time.)

Of course there is! smile But it doesn't work. sad Several presented controls seem to be ignored*. hmm
(Same on several DebIan and DebIan-based ISOs I've tried.)
And once in a while, after an unpredictable usually-long time, wicd will actually re-connect.
.
*Given that, my first guess would be that something buggered authorization. I Am Not An Expert.

Well, if wicd doesn't work, I'll always use ceni, so I suggest installing it, or your conman-ui & use it instead. smile

That makes it sound like the problem is at your server end to me, or were they all using wicd.

All the newest DebIan-based ISOs were using wicd.  I didn't search bug-reports for such issues.
I have older Slackware-based ISOs that don't have this issue - some using wicd.
