Getting Bluetooth Working

Was having trouble getting bluetooth going on Beowoulf and came across this post https://lists.dyne.org/lurker/message/2 … 1b.it.html

Added myself to the lp group and all was well.

I have a similar Bluetooth tip that might help some people:

Bluetooth wasn't working on a standard user/non-admin account, so I added the user to the bluetooth group. Still got error messages so I added user to netdev group as well. Bluetooth works now and the error messages are gone.

I am in both bluetooth and netdev groups but at the first instance blueman crashes, the only way to make it work on my laptop it through these commands (I use an alias):

sudo rmmod btusb && sudo modprobe btusb
