Can't update the chimaera-security repo

I decided to try testing (chimaera), so I replaced all the "beowulfs" in my /etc/apt/sources.list with "chimaera". However, when I try to update, the terminal says that it can't find the release file.

The input/output can be seen here:

➜ ~ sudo apt-get update
Hit:1 https://brave-browser-apt-dev.s3.brave.com stable InRelease
Hit:2 https://repo.nordvpn.com/deb/nordvpn/debian stable InRelease

Hit:6 http://deb.devuan.org/merged chimaera-updates InRelease
Err:7 http://deb.devuan.org/merged chimaera-security Release

E: The repository 'http://deb.devuan.org/merged chimaera-security Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

I'm sure I'm just missing something simple, but I can't seem to find any answers.

Re: Can't update the chimaera-security repo

Chimaera aka testing does not have security updates, only the stable branch gets security updates.

Re: Can't update the chimaera-security repo

Both Chimaera and Ceres get you closer to upstream versions of software, so all the security updates can come directly from them.

Re: Can't update the chimaera-security repo

Note that chimaera is subject to a mandatory transition delay from ceres and so may be left vulnerable for a while[0] and any security updates for ceres depend on the package maintainers noticing them rather than the Security Team taking care of them[1].

To quote the Debian Security FAQ:

If you want to have a secure (and stable) server you are strongly encouraged to stay with stable.

Re: Can't update the chimaera-security repo

Thanks everyone, I knew Ceres/Sid didn't receive security updates, but didn't know testing didn't either. I was further confused from others' sources lists having chimaera security on there. I changed it to Beowulf security after I made this post, so I could update, would it be wise to keep it as such?

None of your packages will be updated from the beowulf security repositories because the versions in there will be older.

That makes sense, thanks
