Is openssh 8.3 going to be backported to buster/beowulf?

Any prediction when can it happen?

Beowulf is the same suite codename as Debian Buster, which only has openssh-server 7.9 https://packages.debian.org/buster/openssh-server. If Buster gets oepnssh 8.3, then Beowulf can too.

I suspect that the dependency chain is far too tangled to make this a reasonable option, hence the lack of a package in the buster-backports repositories.

there is openssh-portable but you would have to build it yourself.
