Bluetooth audio - connects to device, but no audio output

I'm using KDE and have been trying to play audio from a Bluetooth speaker I bought. It's nothing swanky.

I have successfully connected to the device over Bluetooth however I cannot play any audio out of it. I've attached some screenshots... please let me know if I need to supply further information.

I have tested the Bluetooth speaker using my phone and it plays back fine using that.

Any help gratefully received. Thanks.

i have mostly resorted installing all packages

bluetooth*

and

blueman*

when bluetooth was needed.

it seems there has been not so much progress with bluetooth, especially when one wants to use alsa-only.

However, blueman may be gnome specific, and not inclueded in Devuan?
it always seemed to me that with gnome, bluetooth was neatlier integreated, but i would also prefer KDE over it.

Have you looked at the link vlax has in his post above yours. To solve your problem you must be more specific about what you have done, your hardware and goal.
