(Solved)triple monitor setup - third monitor not recognized?
Hello ,
i have tried Beowulf on 2 of my Computer and with both i have the same problem:
one of three monitors gets no picture / remains dark after login.
during bootup all three monitors are connected/and visible.
pc1
amd a10-9700
with integrated r7 graphics
connected with dvi, hdmi to dvi, vga
pc2
ryzen 5 2600
rx 560
connected with dvi, hdmi to dvi, dp to dvi.
both pc have firmware-amd-graphics and linux-firmware-(nonfree) installed.
on ubuntu all 3 monitors are happily recognized and active after login, same on debian buster (only after installing the necessary firmware though).

sorry, i found out how to do it:
in arandr, i needed to activate the third monitor first (tick box).
now the three monitors are showing up.
