Upgrade - grave bugs - Apache, Chromium & Firefox

When I update an ASCII machine with the usual

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade

It reports :-

Retrieving bug reports... Done
Parsing Found/Fixed information... Done

I was able to upgrade the remaining packages with the same proceedure as last time :-

As for the bugs,
Apache is reported to crash if you use mod_perl.
Chromium is reported to not start without chromium-sandbox. I was unable to locate this sandbox.
Firefox is reported to have a security problem which I don't really understand.
