I'm running Devuan Ascii 32 bit, and have been having trouble with audio (no sound!).
One of the solutions I found suggested that I remove and reinstall pulseaudio.
I ran sudo apt remove pulseaudio successfully. But when I try to run sudo apt install pulseaudio, I get this:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Suggested packages:
pavumeter paman paprefs
The following NEW packages will be installed:
pulseaudio
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 1,090 kB of archives.
After this operation, 6,082 kB of additional disk space will be used.

sudo apt update --fix-missing didn't help. And I do have a working internet connection.
My /etc/apt/sources.list file looks like this:
# deb cdrom:[devuan_ascii_2.0.0_i386_netinst]/ ascii main non-free
#deb cdrom:[devuan_ascii_2.0.0_i386_netinst]/ ascii main non-free

#deb-src http://deb.devuan.org/merged ascii-updates main non-free contrib
deb http://deb.devuan.org/merged ascii-backports main non-free contrib
Can someone please help me with this?

Hit:2 http://deb.devuan.org/merged ascii-security InRelease
Hit:3 http://deb.devuan.org/merged ascii-updates InRelease
Hit:4 http://deb.devuan.org/merged ascii-backports InRelease

I don't see anything that is not correct, but I can state that at about the time that you were posting this, I was having some problems doing a regular update with similar "File not found" error messages.
I would try it again later before I tried changing anything.

Thanks. It's working fine this morning. I guess the server was offline or something.
And re-installing pulseaudio fixed my sound issues.
