Upgrade to excalibur killed my X

Just a heads up: I just upgraded my slighly hacky daedalus-System to excalibur (apt upgrade) and my keybord+mouse stopped cooperating (both USB), X used up 100% CPU.

This could have a number of reasons originating in my specific setup (no dbus, zotac-box as working machine), but a warning to be prepared for a sudden reboot might be in order.

(Reboot was needed because X refused to come up again after I shut it down.)
