[SOLVED] trackpad behavior in daedalus

My trackpad behavior has changed in the last day or so.  I am running daedalus and recently updated software.  Could someone point me to a resource that will get the trackpad back to its normal behavior?  Right now it is jumpy when I am clicking on links and buttons.  Also, it no longer allows me to click on an item with one finger and move it with another finger.

Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] trackpad behavior in daedalus

apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
restart

seems to have solved it.

xserver-xorg-input-libinput was installed.  No trackpad showed up in system settings.

Perhaps this belongs in hardware instead of desktop.
