Chimaera upgrade - no sound

Following my upgrade to Chimaera, I noticed that sound was not working, in my browser, Pale Moon.
I also noticed that Pulseaudio had become installed. Once I had removed Pulseaaudio I could get sound from VLC, but not from Pale Moon. What was required was a reboot, and then it was working.
