Dear all,
when I open control center and go to Time and Date settings, I get this error:
The name org.freedesktop.timedate1 was not provided by any .service files
I found a similar thread in the Artix forum here:
https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/topic,465.0.html
The solution seems to be to install the package
openrc-settingsd
but I cannot find it in the Chimaera repos, nor in the Ceres repos. Is there any way to install it in Devuan? I even wouldn't mind compiling it from source if someone could give me a brief heads-up on how to do this (and where to download).
Best

Probably no Debian package?
I get the same error on my wife's PC (Chimaera, openrc, MATE). When I klick ok, I get the dialogue.
No issue on my PC with Chimaera, openrc, Cinnamon.

Thanks rolfie for your reply!
After some fiddling I managed to get it working. I found a download source:
https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/openrc- … .0.tar.bz2
and compiled it following the explanation in this forum entry:
https://unix.stackexchange.com/question … rom-source
(had to fix some missing build dependencies though) - and lo and behold, after a reboot it works as expected.
I'm aware that this is not an official way as it bypasses the Devuan repos, but for the time being it fixed the issue.

Edit: You were right rolfie, there is no Debian package available, only for Arch/Artix, Gentoo, Alpine and some others:
