Is there a simple way to do it? I guess if I just add it to source.list would certainly break my system. I also knew a script called katoolin but it also doesn't work. Any tips on this subject?

You'll need a list of the kali tools you want first. If they're available, install them; if not, compile them.
Apparently, you can even install them on arm: https://github.com/Bhai4You/Kali-Linux. What fun!

Have you seen the sizes of the meta packages for kali, massive....
