Hello! Today, I installed Devuan Ascii from a netinstall onto my old i686 laptop. It has a little under 1 gb of ram. It appears to now be brought back to life. I went with Openbox, and have only just begun customizing the installation The extra options in the expert installation were amazing and much appreciated. I decided to go with OpenRC as the init, and I'm tempted to reinstall again just to try LILO instead of grub.

It starts up under 100 mbs of ram.
