Small issue, I'm on a recently cleaned Thinkpad T480 so..
I have no idea what's going on
Not sure I need that,
I have auto-cpufreq installed, haha
I used xarchiver and file-roller
They both started p7zip trying to extract the file, and the issue came in.
Salutations!
Issue is simple.
I have a ~25GB archive I want to extract.
I start extracting it,
The PC fans start going crazy
The computer starts breaking down and freezing and stuttering everywhere
Despite me having an i5 8th gen, and 16 GB RAM DDR4
So, I go check htop
and p7zip is using 100% of ONLY ONE CPU Core to extract the zip
I have no idea what to do. Any ideas?
Thank you!
That helps a lot.
Thank you, friend.
I'll try it tomorrow and leave an update here
No idea how to add my config to the script. I know, I'm dumb, i just don't see where.
Would you guys be willing to help a complete newbie? 😂
I gotta somehow add wg-quick up wgcf-profile to it. Which lines should I edlt? And where?
No idea how to get stuff like this working, I used to use warp-cli.
Crap. How do I use it?
Sorry, I'm easily confused, Not really the most experienced linux user here.
Either way, thanks a bunch!
Hey! I don't think the script works on OpenRC
Besides, sorry for being a newbie, But I'm unsure where to put it or how to
add my own config onto it. Any tips?
Agh, I ended up switching back to Pulseaudio after all, as this has been a painful experience.
Thank you all for trying to help, and have a great day
God, This is a mess.
No idea how I'll get audio working again
Also, StopAI, I didn't add them before but after installing it didn't work. So I tried adding custom files. Didn't help. I removed them all now and tried the command, no shot. Still a mess.
Now I need to somehow get the script to successfully run at startup, and fix the weird libcamera error
Small update:
https://imgur.com/L34NmZU.png
I also tried the script from the bottom of the page,
It fixed the issue for just ONE session
I ran it from Downloads.
Tried moving it to Startup
It doesn't work anymore, tried moving to downloads and running again, I get the previous errors.
This is so weird!
And now, I tried restarting, and running it from downloads! It fixed it again, but gave this error!

Genius!
I totally didn't follow the exact same guide
Anything else?
So apparently, Pulseaudio was not removed, so I removed it. Audio is still not working, but these are my errors:
https://imgur.com/WTh3hzj.png
I tried again later, Instead I got this hell:

M 18:03:07.719138 wireplumber ../src/main.c:364:on_disconnected: disconnected from pipewire
I installed it in a pretty simple way,
sudo apt install pipewire wireplumber pipewire-alsa pipewire-pulse pipewire-jack -y
After that, I added an executable file in /usr/local/bin
And now, my PC boots up without sound.
If I try to manually start up pipewire with pipewire & wireplumber & pipewire-pulse &
I get this mess:

Help? Thank you!
Thank you friend, I'll try it out later!
I know, I know, I'm sorry, I am unsure if this the right place to ask this question on but
Really! I couldn't find much help anywhere. I'm on Devuan OpenRC, using the wgcf (wireguard cloudflare) config.
Is there some way to get the config to load every time I boot up (something similar to the command below):
wg-quick up wgcf-profile
It would really help a lot. Thanks lads, I appreciate any help given.
