Thanks. When I run:
# service keyboard-setup restartI get:
keyboard-setup: unrecognized serviceI've set the keyboard to my locale (UK) but the @ and " keys are still in the wrong place.

Changing the layout settings in Settings>Keyboard>Layout (after installing my language, EN UK), the change does not take effect.
