Just for future reference, I am posting links to some of the previous themes which will hopefully help guide the future evolution of the desktop theme(s) for Devuan. Themes should try to evoke the essence/ethos of the chosen release title.

"ASCII" used a very dark "Purpy" (very close to black) for obvious reasons.

IOW . . . the colors of the theme should tell the story of the chosen release title.

Well, this is a surprise! You went dark on the subject after I pointed you to Devuan's official "THEMING A DEVUAN RELEASE" that I put together after I retired from that task a few years ago. No one has taken a crack at it since. It is a GIGANTIC undertaking so be prepared.

Current color is too dark and nowhere near a biologically accurate green. I hopped outside and picked some leaves, did a rough twirl of my trusty gcolor2 and it registered around #A8D543?

FWIW, it always took me a month or two to finally get the colors into the most harmonious balance for just the desktop  background. Then that color palette has to be applied to so many other parts of Devuan that need to be visually integrated for the release.

Attracting new users is a good thing but a more important focus would be to build a redundancy of competent developers who can deal with our infrastructure and the nonsense that Debian/RedHat keep lobbing at us. YOUR pet project may be helpful or a pure delight but it does nothing to support the tasks that are necessary to maintain Devuan's viability. Please start pulling in the direction that will sustain Devuan's future. Time to saddle up, folks!

Why are you even touching Lunduke's nonsense and taking it seriously? You are all over the place and seem to have no guardrails and it concerns me that you will step in a big pile that will negatively impact Devuan. Please take it down a notch. You are not qualified to speak for or about Devuan in any way. Please try to find something to contribute to Devuan that will actually be useful . . .
