Hello,

i have a fresh installed ASCII - and i put back my Thunderbird Profil. I have 2 Browser installed (FF & Chromium)

I go to the XFCE Setting and set a Default Browser (I have test whit bit both!) At the Moment is Chromium my Default. Also in

update-alternatives --config gnome-www-browser

  Auswahl      Pfad                  Priorität Status
------------------------------------------------------------
  0            /usr/bin/firefox-esr   70        automatischer Modus
* 1            /usr/bin/chromium      40        manueller Modus
  2            /usr/bin/firefox-esr   70        manueller Modus

and
xdg-settings get default-web-browser
chromium.desktop

I Search arround in TB Forum et'all

As a Workarround i make me a user.js File - I also make a empty / new Profile - no Link was working?!

But, nothing helps

TB can't open a Link anymore....

Any Idea?

After a Dev1 Setup on a Laptop (whit eth0), i have to wait a long time
for the eth0 on "cold boot".

I "cold boot" my Laptop
I look to the "Boot Messages"
I see the following Msg:

Configuring Network Interfaces ifup: Waiting for Lock on
/run/network/ifstat.eth0

After 2 or 3 minutes to wait, the Laptop boot up,

In the folder /run/network/ i have - after the "long to wait boot":

    ifstat        (content: eth0=eth0 and lo=lo
    ifstat.eth0    (content: eth0 )
    ifstat.lo    (content: lo )
    ifstat.lock    (content: empty )

The Packet: ifstat (1.1-8.1) current *not* installed!

What must i do to speed up my Dev1 Boot ?!

Thanks
Michael
