Nothing ...
Any way,
Thank you very much for your help!!
I'm back again, no it didn't blow up but nothing happened ...
*About my previous commentary ... this time i got to read the whole line at the screen when restarted the system:
couldn't mount ext3 due to future incompatibilities
O'k before harakiri ... at least i want to be sure if this is what i have to do:
<allow_any>auth_self</allow_any>
<allow_inactive>auth_self</allow_inactive>

No there is nothing like auth_any, auth_active and auth_inactive [and it is a very long list ...]

Just in case to let you know ...
Thanks.
Well may be in the future this facility will be provided.
There are not problems with USB devices.
Hi,
I didn't know that ...
but any way, what i means by “to wait for developers” it is to wait for a sort of update, or wherever, in which this problem can be solved without much on the side of the user, because the whole thing is difficult, at least for me, and i don't want to brake the system AGAIN. He said "and it will probably be more complicated". And he need more information ... Some times to get information for me it is difficult since i don't know the commands in order to identify ... i was searching in Google to know the command for the 'display manager' and 'file manager' and found nothing understandable, clear or simple but a lot of confused statements.
Do you still wanting to help this newbie person?.
-- please, tell me step by step what do i have to do.
Thanks!
O'k, understood. Lets wait for developers.
Thank you very much.
Question:
and if from mxlinux i go to fstab and change what is over there:
# Pluggable devices are handled by uDev, they are not in fstab
/dev/sda3 / auto defaults,noatime 1 1to this:
UUID=6e55911a-2620-4ab6-b2b5-1458602e6252 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
UUID=0b4a75ba-8b74-47b1-8aaa-2d971f92732f swap swap defaults 0 0
LABEL=MXLinux /mnt auto defaults,noatime 0 0Hi,
I'm not sure if i understand what you are saying ...
golinux, i did it before:
UUID=6e55911a-2620-4ab6-b2b5-1458602e6252 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
UUID=0b4a75ba-8b74-47b1-8aaa-2d971f92732f swap swap defaults 0 0
LABEL=MXLinux /mnt auto defaults,noatime 0 0fsmithred, look at this,
from MXLinux [this is what i want].
you click at 'volumen 104' (Devuan) and that is all!!.
Thanks!
whithout any result means it is not displayed at the gestor of files

root@kaos:/home/keos# ls /mnt

boot dev home lib64 media opt root sbin tmp var
root@kaos:/home/keos#Any way i tried this, but without any result:

I”m not sure about what you said after run blkid:

UUID="66f3f330-78b2-4767-bc3e-8a9e7750e476 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1Well, today it doesn't works ... is it not a permanent solution?. Do i have to do the same every time after turn off the pc?. Just asking ...
It is working now!. i don't know what i did wrong before maybe because i did't log out as you said, but because i restarted the system?.
keos@kaos:~$ LANG=C groups
keos cdrom floppy sudo audio dip video plugdev netdev lpadmin scanner
keos@kaos:~$ LANG=C pmount sda3
Error: device /dev/sda3 is not removable
keos@kaos:~$ ls /media/sda3No, the same result as the in the capture of my first post : Not authorized to perform operation. -- i did it as root.
Thanks devuser but i”m realizing now that the whole thing is to complicate for me, it is not my English, this is not an easy subject, and i don't want to brake the system ...
It is better to wait for developers, i think so ... because other systems do not have this limitation, from MXLinux i'm able to go into Devuan without any problem, and when i was in Mint ...
Again, thanks!.
Well, you said that i should do "something similar" ... this is a bit complicated for me, i don't understand what you means, it is probably my English ... but thanks anyway for your answer.
This is what i have at /etc/fstab what do you means by to put an entry for MX partition?.
GNU nano 2.7.4 Fichero: /etc/fstab
UUID=6e55911a-2620-4ab6-b2b5-1458602e6252 / ext4 defaults,noatime 0 1
UUID=0b4a75ba-8b74-47b1-8aaa-2d971f92732f swap swap defaults 0 0I forgot to said that in MXLinux Devuan is not even over there.
Sorry, it is over there but not as Devuan but as "volume of 104 GB".
MXLinux:
GNU nano 2.7.4 Fichero: /etc/fstab
# Pluggable devices are handled by uDev, they are not in fstab
/dev/sda3 / auto defaults,noatime 1 1And after update ... it works! Thanks!!
Hi fsmithred,
The problem is that there is not TAB in my keyboard. Today i spend hrs trying again to install the system, every time the windows appear the whole information was not completed at the bottom of the windows, then, after many times trying different ... for intuition i was moved to press the key ESC and ... BINGO!
-- The system is already installed again, this time i didn't do this in Italian but in English, when locales appears, i just changed it from en to spanish and now the system is in spanish. No more grub problems, everything is fine.
Only one last question. I'm going to install MXLinux later but want the Devuan Grub, after this second installation, mxlinux will take the grub. If i change again to Devuan Grub ... is it there any risk in loosing everything like it happened before?.
Thanks!
i will start again everything, im going to reinstall, i think it is going to be much better ... Thanks.
