As far as i'm aware, So Far, Debian is only removing the x86 image and kernel, but are building the rest of the i386 packages. Call me "Naive" if you must, but it feels that this is relatively easy for devuan to keep x86 support going if they want to, past Debian's "Official Support". just add our own Devuan Kernel Series (which should be considered anyway - Debian's kernel does have some gremlins in it.), and create our own installer image for x86.
