@igorzwx . . . You are not a very bright AI it seems . . . Such preposterous responses should embarrass even a machine . . .
Hahahaha . . . imagination is the trap that enslaves because it does not see things as they are. It is a vortex that binds and only leads to suffering.
You seem to be a computer scientist.
Nope.
Try to imagine AI which is thinking how it got its thoughts.
Machines don't think . . . but then most humans don't either . . .
Interesting interview with Audrey Tang, Taiwan’s Fmr. Minister of Digital Affairs on AI, Elections, and China. Open Source mentioned several times and his book, “Plurality”, is a free download. Here's the blurb from Amanpour & Company:
"When it comes to any election, technology enables the dissemination of important information. How might technology be leveraged to stop the spread of fake content? Audrey Tang is an expert in this field. Formerly Taiwan’s Digital Affairs Minister, Tang has used a wide range of strategies to address this problem. Tang's book “Plurality” details how the internet, which is a divisive space for so many, can also provide immense opportunities for bridge building and collaboration. The author spoke with Hari Sreenivasan."

To understand [Horror Sapiens] always follow the greed...
The complete triumvirate is greed, hatred and delusion . . .
Delusion is the wellspring though . . .
Any species stupid enough to allow this to happen will reap the bounty of its collective stupidity . . . Darwin on steroids . . .
Thanks for this. When I finally get to Daedalus will come in very handy . . .
golinux muses that Devuan has the best jokes in great numbers while there are barely enough hands on deck to do what needs to be done to keep Devuan alive . . .
Dowse has been available in Dyne's offerings since about the time they started the Devuan project. There was a live demonstration at the Conference. It provides a way to turn off those phone home devices:

Question I don't have any phone-home or other devices needing wifi . . . everything is wired. Am I still at risk for wifi messing with my machine(s) if wifi isn't activated on my account or router?
@zapper . . . Resistance is futile. You have been assimilated . . .
Why would you assume that? The relationship has not been friendly or cooperative since before the farcical 2014 General Resolution.
Here' how that went down . . .
Combatting revisionist history
Even before that, things were quite heated and unfriendly on all Debian channels.
@jeudi . . . don't be so hard on yourself. It takes time to get familiar with where resources are located on a new-to-you forum. ![]()
What do you with an imaginary pig?
Typo? No verb . . .
I run Xfce quite happily on 8 GB RAM.
