Re: How do I run Plex on Devuan?

If it's the Plex Media Server you want:
There is a user on the Plex Forums that repackages the systemd dependant Plex release (plex pass versions)  to init versions.
He publishes them here: https://cloud.chrisdos.com/index.php/s/KOloOkfSoXUWPSU
There is also instructions if you want to do it yourself.

Link to relevant discussion on Plex Forums:

If you don't have Plex Pass, you probably need to do the work yourself.

If you want to play media using Plex Media Player, the easiest way is probably to use the web player. Otherwise you will have to look into building it yourself: https://github.com/plexinc/plex-media-p … /README.md  Not sure about any systemd dependencies in the toolchain required.

[Edit: Plex has changed forum software so I updated the link]
