For whatever reason, I used to not have this problem, but now every time I suspend for a certain length, probably an hour or more...
I can no longer press power or function key to get it to come back online on my T480.
I end up having to shut down the computer by force. Really... really annoying.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
I am 100% stumped.
I wonder if this is a libreboot issue or a T480 issue.
My guess is probably the first, but I don't know what specifically would cause this.

It's possible it's the coreboot firmware. You can rule out software by trying different OSes and OS versions temporarily. I've run into a lot of regressions in my day, all across the board... So, it's possible it could be a software thing.
Hardware issues are always a pain to try and figure out.. GL
Hopefully the stability and functionality of those 7/8th gen intel ports will only continue to improve over time.

We're all 100% stumped too.
Assuming you have already searched and researched, I suggest asking the libreboot people if there are any known issues with suspend on that model?
