Running Quake 1 on DEVUAN Raspberry Pi III ?

Hello,

I have installed quake using darkplaces, and it runs quite slow. On raspbian, it is compiled to run on SDL.

Would you maybe have any workaround to make RPI play this old good game again?

(edit : using SDL without opengl, for ugly fast graphics, like old DOS time would be best choice)

have you tried to compile it from source with some compiler accelleration flags?
