yeah, you're absolutely right... I don't know what happened but I must have missed that one. Thanks for your help!

I had the same problem... I downloaded the net install iso from the main mirror (as there is no mirror in Australia) and installed in expert mode. the only options for the file system were ext2, fat, fat32 and that was about it, as far as I can remember...

In addition, I also had the problem mentioned by someone else that it never gave me an option to create a user so I ended with a system I could not log in to...

I got around this by booting the media again and using rescue mode, attach to the newly installed system and set a password for root manually, rebooted and I can now log in.

Not sure yet what to do about the ext2 thing.... might just try this install again but I'm pretty sure I didn't miss a screen or option.

On a side note, boy what a shock (but a pleasant one) to see inittab and rc.d directories etc. I had almost forgotten about them after having been exposed to systemd for so long now on so many distros.
