Pale Moon
The Pale Moon browser is not in the Devuan repositories, although it is in the Debian ones (I could try it from there). Is this an oversight? There does not seem much choice of browsers these days with Chrome almost taking over the world (even Microsoft have now switched to it), although Safari survives for Apple users. People are predicting the death of Firefox, but I've seen good reports of Pale Moon which forked from it.

If Pale Moon were in the Debian repos it would also be in Devuan. AFAIK, Steve Pusser provides Pale Moon for Debian users from his repos. You can also get the tar from Pale Moon directly and install wherever you like.

Running it in my Devuan ASCII boxes without problems so far, tried both 32 and 64 bits.
I downloaded the debs form opensuse.org and installed them.

about browsers,
there is also Icecat : https://www.gnu.org/software/gnuzilla/ (latest is a fork of firefox quantum 60 - feels fast..)

I cannot distribute the officially-branded Pale Moon with dbus and pulseaudio support disabled, but you can just compile it yourself for Devuan with the project I've just been working on: https://gitlab.com/bgstack15/stackrpms/ … oon/debian
I produce the officially-endorsed third party build of Pale Moon for Fedora, and the mozconfig shown in my devuan source tree linked above is identical to the Fedora one, with the addition of the --disable-dbus and --disable-pulseaudio and --enable-alsa (which is redundant because it's already enabled, but now it's explicitly stated).
This space intentionally left blank.
