User switching

I upgraded from Debian Wheezy.  XScreensaver's 'New login' button does not work, but instead complains about a missing gdmflexiserver.

Display manager: lightdm (same result with slim)
Desktop Environment: XFCE

Is anyone using other package options in Devuan which result in functional user switching for a multi-user PC?  I'm not willing to switch from XFCE, but I don't care which screensaver or display manager package is used.

There are a couple of solutions here. I tried the usrchg script, and it works.
