Wow. Sorry for the noise. While my network itself was fine, I appear to have an issue specifically for the wired connection to the laptop where I was creating this VM. When I switched it to my WiFi I had no problem.

Again, sorry for the noise.
Tom

I'm trying to do a new install on a VMware VM. When it gets to the "Configuring apt" it's very slow once it gets to about "Retrieving file 8 of 13", and once it gets to about "Retrieving file 12 of 13" it times out and I have to retry.

For 100% sure I have no network issues. I have a reliable connection that generally gets a few hundred Mbits/second.

Has anyone else run into this? I'm hoping I can eventuality get past that. If I can't what are the options? If I skip that can I just setup my sources.list manually?

Thanks!
Tom
