Hi, my title may not be clear but i'll do my best to explain:

Specs: I run Devuan 6 Excalibur with LXQt GUI on AMD Ryzen 8700f. The init is OpenRC.

When I use the GUI terminal to shut down the PC / switch telinit (e.g. telinit 1) the sddm service stops but the regular ttys (f1-f7) not working anymore. they freeze on what they showed previously (if I had an open terminal it will be frozen on it) and also no other terminal is available, which means the only way to recover is Magic SysRq (or hard reset).

When powering off I don't need the magic sysrq as eventually the pc will shut down, but I don't see any text on the screen (of the processes being stopped). However, if I will perform telinit / poweroff OUTSIDE the GUI (in the regular ttys) it will work as expected, even if I'll use tmux for example. It works as expected on ttys, but not with LXQt's GUI.

Why?
