It does. I'm not on high gaming. After some tests din't see any big lose on fps from a "game" distro to a base one. So I went with one I knew, ended here because the systemd thing
I play:
- Black Desert (most of the time)
- Manor Lords
- Crimson Desert
All works fine under Lutris, BDO, or steam, the other two. Now I'm testing my sons family ones to see if any has problems. but I doubt, none has a "big" anti-cheat system.

As additional background I have worked on computers since 1982, started on Apple IIe, then Macs. As macs where "toys" at the time, needed to knew well windows ones to show they where not, so learned windows too. Then internet appeared, learn it, and so on until I retired.
Now I keep on it as a hobby, same as when I started.
