These days, 1 to a dozen pkgs might be held until dependency issues are resolved... with a window mgr, no DE. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>Bold of you to use Ceres, the one time I tried it, I ran into LOTS of issues.</p><p>I learned my lesson lol.</p><p>Honestly if you want to do a rolling release os there are better options out there then devuan.</p><p>Voidlinux &amp; artixlinux both fit that bill.</p><p>But yeah, I second what golinux said. That is what unstable does.</p><p>Surprised you haven&#039;t had more hiccups.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I used Debian Sid (unstable) for many years. There were occasional hiccups but apart from the changeover from Grub V1 to Grub V2 which was &#039;fraught!&#039; it made a perfectly good OS for my laptop.</p><p>I put off moving to Devuan Ceres for a long time, but in the 6 months so far it has been an easy ride - apart from the DNS hassles!<br />The arm is being used as a server so that is running Excalibur.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>February 24th 2026 DNS stopped working on my Devuan Ceres laptop.<br />I was also setting up a new Devuan arm install, and that had the same problem. DNS not working but ping worked.</p><p>There are a LOT of &#039;do this to make DNS work&#039; posts on the internet and quit a few here.<br />After trying the many alternatives this is the only thing that worked on both computers:-</p><p>/etc/resolvconf.conf&#160; &#160; becomes:-</p><div class="codebox"><pre><code># Configuration for resolvconf(8)
