Even test pages (initiated from Applications Menu > Settings > Print Settings > Unlock > right-click > Properties > Print Test Page) yielded the same error.

Xfce Solution:
Applications Menu > System > Synaptic Package Manager
Top, Right: Search: "libcupsimage2"
Click the box to the left of "libcupsimage2" (not "libcupsimage2-dev"), and "Mark for Installation".
Above, click "Apply".
Pop-up window, bottom, right: click the "Apply" button.
Close all Synaptic Package Manager windows.

Then I could print again. big_smile
