			<description><![CDATA[<p>Debian had a point release update on the 31st of August.&#160; It affected both chimaera and daedalus.&#160; I had about 50 updates on my desktop system(s).</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Looking at my apt log, I had quite a few updates on the 1st of September. Given the way they are formatted in the log, it&#039;s not easy to count them, but way up there. Nothing looks amiss in there, and my Daedalus is running fine. Guess we&#039;d have to ask Debian why they got all bunched up like that.</p>]]></description>

~$ </code></pre></div><p>I keep it up to date by checking with <span class="bbc">apt</span> at least once a week and my upgrades are usually for few packages.</p><p>This morning my <span class="bbc">sudo apt update</span> revealed an unusual (?) number of packages to update: </p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>~$ sudo apt update
