			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have a bit of a struggle to address a Bug I found and might have annoyed some (at least one) software developers.<br />As I understand it, Devuan is using mostly Debian packages.<br />So any package coming from Debian to Devuan is called &quot;downstream&quot;?</p><p>Any Bug reported with Devuan, which has its root in the debian package is to be reported by the devuan maintainer &quot;upstrem&quot; to Debian?</p><p>Is that the right understanding?</p><p>EDIT:<br />perfectly explained here: <br /><a href="https://dev1galaxy.org/viewtopic.php?pid=48821#p48821" rel="nofollow">https://dev1galaxy.org/viewtopic.php?pid=48821#p48821</a></p><p>Summary: there are only devuan packages when debian packages need to be &quot;de-systemd-ed&quot;, which are very few.<br />(for completion: the mentioned package in the other thread does not fall into that category)</p>]]></description>
