The rest that I have tried (and I have tried many) is as you say, so many silly mistakes become annoying.

I want to thank you for  your awesome distro they you developed

I tried most binary  non systemd distros like artix and void Linux
And I find Dev1 stable -- currently Daedalus awesome  .

The colord  daemon is working fine as should be working out of the box
But in the other systemd free distros you need to search a lot
