I use alsa without pulseaudio
And always in devuan it work fine and with out any problem

But now i try Daedalus and sound not work after boot.
For "fix" sound i need run alsamixer and change PCM level - after it sound work good.
I first time see this strange behavior...

Now i put in rc.local two string:
amixer set PCM 45%
amixer set PCM 50%
and sound work after boot.

But it dirty hack
