			<description><![CDATA[<p>Thanks, Evenson,</p><p>I&#039;ve looked at that page and the Debian page https://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases, and as I type this, I realize this is probably a question for the Debian community, but I&#039;ll clarify my question here regardless.</p><p>I don&#039;t see any newer releases getting an LTS flag. Is it going to be the current alpha Daedalus that will get the extended maintenance treatment, is it equal to Debian&#039;s Stretch? </p><p>Thanks again,<br />Mike</p>]]></description>

Is there occasionally a release that is an LTS of sorts that will get greater than five years of security updates, or are all releases the same for about five years?</p><p>Thanks for helping me to understand the release cycles!<br />Mike</p>]]></description>
