Devuan Jessie and Devuan ascii is EOL. You can try Chimaera (stable release) or Beowulf (oldstable). But keep in mind about this

just tried to install Devuan Jessie via USB from Netinst and FullDVD,

and both times failed
at the step:

select and install software.

first it would not find any network mirror,
so i would enter it manually (archive.devuan.org/merged)
and it would find packages, but then comment them out;
and ultimately it would not install any software packages at all.

Is this because i am trying to install from a USB Media?
the installer has been made via mkusb.
