I agree. I haven't changed back to stable for the past two years. It helps to have firsthand experience with GNU/Linux before taking this route, but I've had very little worries at most. Bugs get fixed much quicker because of active development at hand.

Yes this is strange, because this should be the reverse normally, unstable broken and packages causing the error blocked in testing.
By the way three years now running testing, the only real issue I had is one time NVidia proprietary dkms drivers not building. And thee freeze period :-)

It's back already. Apparently it was removed from testing on 2022-06-25 then added back this morning:

It is currently in ceres so could still be included in daedalus or daedalus backports before it is officially released.

What happened with package synaptic in daedalus?

I remember that this package did exist in the daedalus repositories.
