The <span class="bbc">/beowulf-backports</span> incantation doesn&#039;t allow for dependencies to be installed from backports.</p><p>I think <span class="bbc">aptitude</span> might be able to figure out the path to installation with the <span class="bbc">/release</span> syntax where dependencies are involved.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hello:</p><p>My NAS running OpenWRT uses <span class="bbc">rsync</span> version 3.2.3&#160; protocol version 31 and my Devuan running with a backported kernel uses <span class="bbc">rsync</span> version 3.1.3&#160; protocol version 31.</p><p><span class="bbc">beowulf-backports</span> has <span class="bbc">rsync</span> version 3.2.3-3~bpo10+1, which would be a match.</p><p>This is what I get when I try to install it:</p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>:~$ sudo apt install rsync/beowulf-backports
