This seems to be a long standing kernel issue, and I don't expect it to ever be fixed. See e.g. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1485013

However, as a workaround, modprobe -r rmi_smbus;modprobe rmi_smbus works. Is there a way to have these commands run automatically after waking up?
