			<description><![CDATA[<p>I have a separate partition on my SSD for <span class="bbc">/boot</span> with further partitions under LVM for <span class="bbc">/</span> and <span class="bbc">/home</span>.</p><p>Then on my HDD I have a partition for <span class="bbc">swap</span> with further partitions under LVM for <span class="bbc">/var</span> as well as my VMs which run under Xen.</p><p>The idea was to have the potentially rapidly changing stuff on the HDD, but boot quickly off the SSD. It seemed like a good idea at the time ;-)</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Single btrfs partition with separate subvolumes for the each distribution&#039;s&#160; <span class="bbc">/</span> &amp; <span class="bbc">/home</span> directories plus subvolumes for the (automated) daily snapshots and another one just for Steam. I was running four distributions from the same partition at one stage but I&#039;ve trimmed it down to two now.</p><p>EDIT: and an EFI system partition but I don&#039;t leave that mounted at all (it&#039;s listed in /etc/fstab under /efi but it has the <span class="bbc">noauto</span> option applied).</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>How do you like to partition things? I like to have /var and /usr and /boot on separate partitions. This way, root only needs 600MB and only has 7,395ish files to check on boot. Am I being pointless? I certainly feels good this way.</p><p>Also, /opt is separate, for installing firefox and nuking whole partition after for privacy.</p>]]></description>
