Its funny how when companies make everything "their OWN" that the open-source community gets left the option of taking that wayside project and personalizing its commitment to a whole-nother level.
]]>Red Hat are heavily invested in gnome project and that project are shifting to wayland, enabling it by default. KDE project also have wayland implemented in their window manager.
