First do an <span class="bbc">apt update</span>/<span class="bbc">apt upgrade</span>, then:</p><div class="codebox"><pre><code>apt -t ascii-backports install linux-headers-4.19.0-0.bpo.6-amd64</code></pre></div><p>You will have to replace the <span class="bbc">4.19.0-0.bpo.6-amd64</span> with the correct suffix for your machine. That <span class="bbc">apt install</span> will pull all the required dependencies for the headers.</p><p>Rolfie</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I am testing Devuan ASCII to see if it is compatible with LinuxCNC <a href="http://www.linuxcnc.org/" rel="nofollow">http://www.linuxcnc.org/</a> which requires a realtime kernel.</p><p>I added ascii-backports to my repository list and I have successfully installed a realtime linux-image 4.19.67-2+deb10u2~bpo9+1 and it errored while install the matching linux-headers as they are dependent on linux-compiler-gcc-6-x86 4.19.67-2+deb10u2~bpo9+1</p><p>According to this page <a href="https://pkginfo.devuan.org/cgi-bin/d1pkgweb-query?search=linux-compiler&amp;release=ascii" rel="nofollow">https://pkginfo.devuan.org/cgi-bin/d1pk … ease=ascii</a> it should be available but it doesn&#039;t appear in Synaptic Package Manager</p><p>Am I looking in the wrong place?</p><p>Cheers, Phill.</p>]]></description>
