While looking at https://www.devuan.org/os/init-freedom/ , I noticed shepherd/Shepherd was in consideration. Currently, I am using artix linux with openrc -- at least it's not arch linux with systemd. However, I am trying to convert to devuan sometime in the future -- mostly because of the sysvinit scripts allowed with devuan. I have also been messing with guix in a QEMU VM, and trying to identify the init files, but it I am also having a hard time finding the init scripts. Basically, I would like to implement this in a tinkering method, but I am seriously curious about them. I also don't see guix on that page, but guix I think only works with shepherd.

Simple question : How would I go about transitioning sysvinit scripts to shepherd under devuan -- mostly because I am super curious and tinkery right now.
